Three-drum dryer for dry mortar dryer
Brief introduction:
• Structural composition:
The three-drum dryer is composed of three concentric cylinders of different diameters embedded in each other. The main body rotates horizontally on the supporting wheels at both ends through the wheel belts at both ends. The feeding end of the cylinder is equipped with a hot air furnace device, the unloading end is equipped with a dust cover and an automatic unloading device, and is equipped with a variety of auxiliary equipment, such as electromagnetic vibrating feeder, bucket elevator, transmission system, conveying equipment, etc.
• Working principle:
The wet material to be dried is fed into the inner cylinder of the dryer from the feeding end, enters through the spiral guide plate of the inner cylinder, and the spiral lifting plate inside the inner cylinder continuously lifts the material and moves longitudinally with the rotation of the cylinder. When the material reaches the left end of the inner cylinder, it falls into the middle cylinder due to its own weight, and then is pushed back to the middle cylinder and moves to the right. When it reaches the right end of the middle cylinder, it falls into the outer cylinder. Under the action of the spiral lifting plate of the outer cylinder, it turns back and moves to the left until it reaches the left end of the outer cylinder, and finally falls into the cylinder at the discharge end. In this process, the hot air flow from the hot blast furnace enters the inner cylinder, the middle cylinder, and the outer cylinder successively to carry out strong heat exchange with the material, so that the moisture in the material evaporates, thereby achieving the purpose of drying.
• Applicable materials:
Mainly used for drying granular materials within a certain humidity and particle size range, such as yellow sand in the dry mortar industry, various specifications of molding sand in the foundry industry, blast furnace slag in the building materials cement industry, small-sized clay, and small-sized granular materials in the chemical industry that are not afraid of high temperature and smoke.
Advantages and characteristics:
• High efficiency and energy saving:
High thermal efficiency: The material exchanges heat with the hot air flow in the inner cylinder in the form of radiation, convection, and conduction, and the heat exchange in the outer cylinder is conducted and convection. The thermal efficiency greatly exceeds the level of about 50% of traditional dryers, and the energy saving effect is significant.
Strong fuel adaptability: The fuel can adapt to various energy sources such as coal, oil, and gas, and can make full use of the heat of various fuels to reduce energy costs.
Wide range of applications: It can adapt to the drying of various raw materials such as clay, coal, slag, iron powder, and is also suitable for the drying of various bulk materials in metallurgy, chemical industry and other departments.
• Compact structure:
Small footprint: Compared with the single-drum dryer, the volume of the three-drum dryer is reduced by about half, which reduces the footprint and is suitable for the transformation of old factories or enterprises with limited space.
• Easy installation:
The whole machine is arranged horizontally, supported by supporting wheels, and the large and small gear transmission is cancelled and replaced by supporting wheels, making the equipment installation more convenient, the operation simpler, the operation more reliable, and the operation rate higher.
• Good drying effect:
• The material is dried evenly:
The unique lifting plate design, such as the organic combination of the angle lifting plate and the swastika lifting plate, makes the material and the hot flue gas exchange more fully, reduces the mechanism of the "wind tunnel" in the dryer cylinder, ensures that the material is evenly dispersed in the cylinder, and improves the uniformity of drying.
• Precise moisture control:
The desired final moisture index can be easily adjusted according to user requirements. The moisture content of the dried material can reach below 1-0.5%, meeting the strict requirements of different industries for the moisture content of the dried material.
Improved working environment: The external surface area of the machine is reduced by more than 30% compared with the single-drum rotary dryer, and the outer drum has a heat insulation effect on the inner drum. The surface temperature of the outer drum is low and the heat loss is small. While being highly efficient and energy-saving, it greatly improves the working environment and working conditions.
• Low operating cost:
The investment required for the equipment is about 1/6 of that of imported products from abroad, and there are fewer failures and low maintenance costs during operation, which can save a lot of operating costs for enterprises.
