Structural composition:

• Drum part:

It is composed of three concentric cylinders of different diameters, which are nested and combined. This is the core component. Each cylinder has a specific function and role. The inner cylinder is mainly used for preliminary heat exchange and drying, the middle cylinder further enhances the drying effect, and the outer cylinder plays the role of heat preservation and auxiliary drying, so that the material can be fully dried in the cylinder.

• Transmission device:

It includes motors, reducers, gears, rollers and other components. The motor provides power, and drives the cylinder to rotate through transmission components such as reducers and gears, so that the material can continuously roll and move in the cylinder to ensure that the material can be evenly heated.

• Feeding device:

It is generally located at one end of the dryer and is used to transport wet machine-made sand into the dryer. The feeding device needs to ensure that the material can enter the cylinder stably and evenly to avoid blockage or uneven feeding.

• Discharging device:

At the other end of the dryer, it is used to discharge the machine-made sand after drying. The discharging device needs to have good sealing to prevent hot air leakage and dust overflow.

• Heat source system:

Provides heat for the dryer. Common heat sources include coal, natural gas, biomass pellets, etc. The heat source system needs to ensure a stable supply of heat and can be adjusted according to the requirements of the drying process.

• Dust removal system:

Used to collect and process dust generated during the drying process to reduce pollution to the environment. The performance of the dust removal system directly affects the environmental protection effect and working environment of the dryer.

• Working principle:

The wet machine-made sand enters the inner cylinder from the feeding device. As the inner cylinder rotates, the shovel is continuously picked up and scattered by the shovel plate, and heat exchange is achieved in a spiral movement. Downstream drying is performed to initially remove most of the moisture. Then the machine-made sand enters the middle cylinder for countercurrent drying. The material is repeatedly lifted in the middle cylinder, in a two-step forward and one-step backward movement mode, fully absorbing the heat of the inner and middle cylinders and extending the drying time. Finally, the machine-made sand falls into the outer cylinder, moves in a rectangular multi-circuit manner in the outer cylinder, and is discharged from the discharging device after further drying. In this process, the hot air flow provided by the heat source system fully contacts the machine-made sand, so that the moisture in the machine-made sand evaporates to achieve the purpose of drying.

The three-drum structure greatly increases the contact area between the material and the hot air flow, making the heat exchange more sufficient. The moisture content of the material after drying can reach 1-0.5% or less.

The temperature and heat are evenly distributed during the drying process, and the machine-made sand will not deteriorate or discolor due to local overheating. The machine-made sand after drying is of high quality, which meets the quality requirements of the machine-made sand in the construction, building materials and other industries.

• Compact structure: Small footprint:

The three-drum dryer has a compact drum structure, and the floor space is only about half of that of a single-drum dryer with the same output. It is very suitable for enterprises with limited space, saving a lot of space.

The overall structure is relatively simple, the installation process is not complicated, and no complex infrastructure and large-scale lifting equipment are required, which can shorten the installation cycle and reduce the installation cost.
